
Scale Facilitation® is proud to announce Lucas Kenny as the new General Counsel, moving up from his position as Director of Legal. In this role, Lucas will play a critical role in supporting implementation and overseeing Scale Facilitation® legal strategies and protocols, working cross-functionally throughout the business to mitigate risk.
Lucas is a business-enabling commercial lawyer and has over 15 years of experience in private practice and corporate law, where he developed his ability to provide skilled and collaborative advice in pursuit of his clients’ enterprise objectives and honed his skillset in blending legal risk protection and resolution with efficient business conduct.
Lucas will work across the company to ensure all legal matters and decisions are consistent with the firm’s mission, values, and culture. He will also contribute to the leadership team and board of directors by providing legal guidance.

Prior to joining the team, Lucas spent 10 years at Fortune 500 company NetApp Inc as Senior Legal Counsel for Asia Pacific. Prior to working at NetApp, he was a Corporate Lawyer for Australia Post and the lead lawyer on the Digital Mailbox platform as the company developed its digital capability in mailing.
Lucas completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Deakin University in Australia and did International Law at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. He was admitted to practise law by the Supreme Court of Victoria and is also an Accredited Mental Health First Aider.
