New York, NY, January 11, 2023 - Scale Facilitation® is proud to announce that our Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CD&IO), Damon Williams, and Managing Director, Head of Scouting, Luke Thackeray, have been selected for the prestigious Australian American Leadership Dialogue’s (AALD) Young Leadership Dialogue (YLD) program, as part of the 2023-2024 cohort. Established in 2007 by the AALD, the YLD advances mutual understanding among Australian and US leaders through leadership development of young people from each country.
“The YLD was founded on the basis that the bilateral long-term relationship between the two countries (Australia and the U.S.) will remain strong when young leaders can come together to discuss critical issues of mutual interest and strengthen understanding and cooperation. The YLD is a two-year program requiring delegates to travel to Leadership Dialogue events in both Australia and the United States. Programming includes in-person, virtual and hybrid sessions,” according to the AALD website description of the highly selective program. Read more about the program on the AALD website.
As Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CD&IO) at Scale Facilitation®, Damon provides broad DEI leadership throughout Scale Facilitation® and its stable of companies. As Managing Director, Head of Scale Facilitation® Scouting, Luke is responsible for identifying innovations and companies that can benefit from the various services provided by Scale Facilitation®.
“We are thrilled that Damon and Luke have been selected into this important leadership program which promotes mutual understanding and strong bilateral bonds between the U.S. and Australia, efforts so highly valued at Scale Facilitation® and which underpin our Friend Shoring™ model.
“Not only will both Damon and Luke personally develop lifelong skills and relationships, but I know both will share their learnings with our entire team and those we engage with,” said Scale Facilitation® Founder and CEO, David A. Collard.
