Peter Messana is a retired partner of Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP (PwC). While at PwC he held a number of leadership positions including overseeing PwC U.S.'s Banking & Capital Markets practice and the Firm’s National advisory financial service and sale team.

Peter has led various audit engagement teams for several of the largest and most complex banking and capital markets clients, including some of the world’s largest universal banks, broker-dealers, private equity, and other financial service entities. He also spent a portion of his career as a management consulting partner advising financial services firms’ on internal control, information security, regulatory compliance, operational, governance, and risk management.

Peter has experience assisting companies with their initial public offering of equity and debt securities, hybrid debt offerings, business restructurings, asset securitizations, business combinations, bankruptcies, and divestitures.

He has extensive financial product experience including complex derivative and securities valuation.

Lastly, as part of his sales oversight role, Peter led efforts in the transformation of the sales team from a traditional management consulting emphasis to a digital-savvy team focused on technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud-based solution.
