One of Australia’s leading superannuation experts, David Coogan has over 35 years' experience providing advisory services to superannuation funds and fund managers in the areas of assurance, risk management, fund mergers, and strategic planning.

David was the National Leader of PwC Australia’s superannuation practice and chaired the ICAA superannuation taskforce for five years. David was the lead audit partner for many superannuation funds and fund managers in the Australian market, including Cbus, Cbus Property, QSuper, MTAA Super, Hostplus, Qantas Super, Mercer Super Trust, Franklin Templeton, and Invesco.

David has worked on several enforceable undertakings by key regulatory bodies including APRA and ASIC. He has recently been involved in several Royal Commission reviews.

David has been a member of the Risk and Audit Committee for St. Vincent’s Hospital in Australia and Chair of Compliance Committee for Funds in Court (Supreme Court of Victoria).

David has been at the forefront of the immense changes seen by the superannuation industry over the past 30 years.
