Claire Keating
With over 30 years’ experience in financial services, Claire Keating is an experienced non-executive director and independent consultant. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Australian Super, SAS Trustee Corporation, Charter Hall Direct Property Management Limited, Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, the Judicial Commission of Victoria and Yooralla (Disability).
Claire is a chartered accountant, former registered company auditor and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Claire was partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for fourteen years where she led assurance and advisory engagements at Australia’s largest superannuation funds and fund managers. In that time she held a number of management roles, including leading PwC’s Financial Services Assurance Practice in Melbourne. She was previously the Human Capital partner and Assurance Services (Risk and Quality) partner for the Melbourne Financial Services Assurance practice and National leader of the PwC Investment Management Assurance sector.
Claire has led numerous consulting assignments including development of risk management and compliance frameworks, merger due diligence, independent advisor to steering committees, project management, business case assessment, pricing reviews, pre and post implementation reviews of administration transitions and system changes.
Claire’s current board and committee roles provide a breadth of experience in business management, strategy, governance, risk and compliance.
